As you plan, it may be helpful to consider the attached IB exam schedule.  IB exams begin on May 5 and end May 21. Each exam has at least 2 different sessions.   AP exams also take place during this period. Students are excused the day of exams, and students who are taking exams in 3 or more subjects are also allowed to miss the day before an exam.  The explanation is detailed below.

IB/AP EXAMINATIONS

2008 EXAM SESSION

 

All students taking IB or AP exams are excused the day of the exam.

 

Students taking IB and/or AP exams in three or more different subject areas are excused the school day immediately before an exam (if it is in the same week) as well as on the day of the exam.  For example:
