Math is Cool Competition

Our Skyline math club team (Charles Wang, Chris Clark, Kevin Clark, and Evan Shieh) placed 7^th in the 11/12 Division 1 section (upper level) of the State Masters Math is Cool competition 2007-2008.  And Evan Shieh won 7^th  place trophy in the individual level.  Our team was screened through the regional completion in November and was invited to the maters’ level with other completive 36 teams in state.

This is our first year attending the competition (first year of the Skyline math club) and the students did a good job.  Congratulations to them.
