Team now qualified for

WIAA State Cheerleading Championship

The Skyline Cheerleaders competed January 12, 2008 at the Sequoia Invitational in Kent, WA; the first WIAA State Qualifier for high school cheer teams to attend. The Spartan’s showcased their incredible talent and athletic abilities and won the Large Varsity division. The squad also received a bid to the 2008 WIAA State Cheerleading Championships, March 22nd at Bellevue Community College. Only 8 out of the 19 teams that competed at the invitational received a bid to state. Please congratulate these talented ladies and come support them at their next competition on January 26th at the Everett Event Center or on March 22nd at the State Cheerleading Championships. The cheerleaders would love to have fans, athletes, and community members from all the programs at Skyline help cheer them on to a state title.
