12^th Grade Culminating Project Interview Guidelines:

1. You must be ready for your interview and at the interview location at least 5 minutes before your interview time.

2. You need to have an updated, clean, unfolded copy of your:

· Resume

· A written answer to Question #1

· You can review a hard copy of your list of questions that you prepared in English class prior to your interview but may not take them into the interview with you.

3. You need to be dressed in a professionally casual manner at a minimum. (business casual)

4. Interview Process:

a. Arrive at your designated classroom at least 5 minutes prior to your interview time and wait outside the door until invited inside. Hand your paperwork to a team member, greet the rest of the team.

b. The team will review your resume and ask 3 questions from the list of 17 that you prepared in your English class. You will be asked Question #1 and two additional of their choice. Come prepared to answer any that they may choose.

c. Please be prepared to answer follow up questions and to engage in dialogue with your interview team.

d. When you finish your interview, shake the hands of each team member and thank them for their time and consideration.

e. The interview should last 10-12 minutes.

5. Resumes MUST be turned in for credit. You will receive feedback about your interview and whether you have met the standard for graduation.
