Education

I graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in chemistry and then I earned my Masters in Education in science education from the UW.

I hold a K-12 teaching certificate with endorsements in chemistry, physics and math.

Work Experience

I have taught chemistry and physics at Fort Vancouver High School for 31 years.  I have taught at Skyline for the last six years.  This year I am teaching IB Chemistry 1 (SL) and  IB Chemistry 2 (HL).

I coached girls' tennis for 26 years and boys' tennis for 3 years at FVHS.

 Interesting Stuff

This summer I spent a week in Oahu and 2 weeks in Yokosuka, Japan.
