IB teaches you how to communicate in every subject.

After the first week here I was so grateful I took IB at Skyline. I have    way  better study habits than most people here.

College is amazing and IB definitely helps!

                                                 ---Skyline student comments

Students who take IB classes consistently report that they feel well prepared in college. Did you know that  61% of Skyline's juniors and seniors are taking one or more IB classes this year?

IB encourages students to:

  • ask challenging questions

  • learn how to learn

  • develop the ability to communicate

The IB program officially begin in grade 11. Classes are offered in every academic area. Students can choose to pursue the IB diploma by taking classes in 6 academic areas, or they can choose to earn IB certificates by selecting subjects of their choice.  IB classes receive a weighted class rank. Check the course catalogue for prerequisites. Diploma candidates should meet with the IB coordinator to plan schedules.
